ORA Coaching Staff

Brad Arnold – Head Coach of Edgewater Crew and Edgewater Masters

Brad did not start rowing until his senior year at Lake Brantley High School but continued on to row 4 years at Marietta College in Ohio. He has been coaching high school rowers since 1996 and came to Edgewater Crew in 2010, promptly guiding the Boys Lightweight8 to the State Championship. He has coached 9 more state championship boats for the boys and girls in the years since. Brad is a retired firefighter with a wife and three daughters.

Andy Taylor ’16 – Assistant Coach for Edgewater Crew, Junior Eagles Coach.

Andy was a 4-year rower for Edgewater, winning the JV4 state championship his junior year and serving as team Captain his Senior Year. He returned to the boathouse last year to coach the Junior Eagles and soon started assisting Coach Arnold with the high school rowers. After directing the Summer Junior Eagles session he is ready for a successful year on the water.

Michael Blosser – Edgewater Crew Strength and Conditioning Coach

Mike joins our staff this year to concentrate on land training for the rowers which allows the rest of the coaching staff to focus on water training. He is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a B.S. in Physical Education from UCF.
